Music, Music, Music!
I have a confession to make you guys. Every few months I get in this mood where I feel mushy about everything and want to fall in love again. Admittedly, it has been almost three years since I have been in love with a significant other and with so many people I know getting engaged and married, my heart just can't help to want to be in on that love! Whenever I get into these moods, my music taste shifts and I just want to listen to chill indie songs. (Does anyone else get in these moods or have certain songs that just make them want to fall in love?) So, I thought I would share some of those songs, as well as others that I have just been loving in the last six months since I updated you guys on my music! PLUS, I saw a challenge on Pinterest to put a playlist on shuffle and write down the first ten songs that come up. So, I'm going to do that with my Alternative Everything playlist from Spotify and say something or another about each of the songs. Let's see what comes up! ~Em

1. "Insane" by Judah and the Lion
All I have to say is I love these boys and hope they put new music out soon so I can have some folk hip hop jams to bop to.
2. "Heavy" by Birdtalker
I adore this song! It has great harmonies, a great message, and overall just good vibes.
3. "Stockholm" by Judah and the Lion
Again, I love these guys. This is one of my favorite songs by them and I don't hear it talked about much so everyone should listen to this song!
4. "Come Under the Covers" by WALK THE MOON
Not my favorite WALK THE MOON song ever, but sometimes I like to jam to this one.
5. "Chin Ups" by Bear Hands
Definitely not one of my favorite Bear Hands songs. It has super weird lyrics and they have so many better songs.
6. "How's Your Mind" by Knox Hamilton
Ok I super love Knox Hamilton and this song BOPS. I saw them in concert a couple weeks ago and the crowd was super into this song and it was a great time.
7. "If You Say So" by Vinyl Theatre
This is one of my favorite bands! I like some of their other songs better than this one but I definitely sing along in the car every time it comes on. Also they are releasing new music soon and I am SO EXCITED!
8. "Chocolate" by The 1975
I know this is a classic song by The 1975, but I didn't discover them until they came out with their "i like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it" album so I'm more familiar with those songs and like them a lot more. I do like this song though!
9. "Hazey" by Glass Animals
I love Glass Animals but I don't know this song very well. I usually end up skipping it when it comes on.
10. "Thunder" by Imagine Dragons
I can't help but get excited when this song comes on. It is such a bop. I have a weakness for songs that drop the music out and then bring it back in with a few bass hits and this song has a great example of one. My mom absolutely loves this song and gasps every time it comes on the radio.
