"These are a few of my favorite things..."
I thought that today I would make a short post about my favorite shows on t.v., my favorite books, and my favorite bands/singers! I love to refer people to my favorites, that way everyone gets to know about the pop culture that I love so much!
T.V. Shows
- Pretty Little Liars
- Supernatural
- Property Brothers (and pretty much anything on HGTV)
- Say Yes to the Dress
- What Not to Wear (and almost all fashion shows on TLC)
- I used to love Dance Moms but now that the original team is disbanded I don't like it as much.
- and Family Feud
These shows are about the only things I watch on t.v. and I am currently watching Supernatural on Netflix. It is my FAVORITE show! I started watching it this past summer and I'm on the 10th season which is the last one they have on Netflix and I'm kind of freaking out about it. I know that Season 11 is happening on t.v. so as soon as I'm caught up on Netflix I will be jumping in with this new season. Pretty Little Liars is probably my 2nd favorite show and I have been with it since the beginning. I read all the books (and sadly the show is nothing like them) but this new 5 Years Forward season has only had one episode so far and I'm already stressed out. Talk about a dramatic show. I feel like there are still so many unanswered questions and I don't know what to expect from this season.

I love to read. I used to read all the time but when I got into the upper grades of school and we had assigned readings it got hard to enjoy reading anymore. I would much rather pick a book myself because I know what my tastes in literature are. Two summers ago I read somewhere between 13-15 books at my job. I'm a series reader as you can tell by the list above. I always get sucked into books and don't want them to end and so I just read series so that they last longer. The House of Night series is my all time favorite. It's about vampires (totally not like Twilight though) and it has an awesome story line, butt-kicking action, romance, and plenty of drama. And not to mention there are 12 books in the series! The genres that I like are supernatural and fantasy mostly but every once in a while I like different things like In Cold Blood by Truman Capote.

I told you guys already that my favorite type of music is Alternative so every one of those bands listed above except Adam Lambert are alternative. I really got into alternative music a little over a year ago. I almost always have my XM radio turned to AltNation. I have been an Adam Lambert fan since American Idol and was really hoping he would win I feel like he has done more than Kris Allen anyways. Twenty One Pilots and X Ambassadors are my favorite right now, but I'm also super duper excited about Panic's Death of a Bachelor album that came out today!
