Makeup I Swear By and New Makeup Finds

For today's post, sorry it's so late, I'm going to be posting about my favorites makeup products and some new products that I'm really excited about trying out and playing with more. Up until recently, I had used pretty much the same 6 or 7 products and was terrified to stray from them and I wasn't even good at doing my makeup back then. I had no idea how to match my foundation to my skin color or blend the foundation and powder into my neck, I went through terrible phases of eye shadow, like the year or two that I wore glittery white eye shadow all the way to my eyebrows every day, or when I would match my eye shadow to my outfit with crazy greens, blues, etc. I'm still no expert at makeup by any means, but I have learned a lot and continue to learn every day!

Favorites/Daily Makeup Go-To

benefit blush in shade Coralista
I used this blush for several years and still pull it out every now and then. It's a nice orange-y coral color.

This is my every day blush. It's a wonderful pinky shade for a rosy cheek. My favorite thing about benefit blushes is that they are scented and they smell so wonderful!

ecotools Eye Shadow brushes
I have used these brushes for several years now and they are great! They are soft and fit well in my hand.

Kat Von D blush in Bellisima
I used my KVD blush a lot when I was a cheerleader because it is heavily pigmented and it sparkles almost like a highlighter when the light hits it right. It is a very pink shade

Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation in the shade Light 45
This is my special occasion foundation because of how pricey it is. This is a very full coverage foundation that makes my skin look flawless. A little goes a VERY long way with this though!

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in the shade Trooper
I SWEAR by this eyeliner! It is the most precise liquid eyeliner I have ever used and does not smudge. It is definitely the best for winged eyeliner and precise lines.

Maybelline The Colossal Volum Express mascara in the shade Classic Black
I've only been using this mascara for about a year and it is my go-to mascara now. The brush is awesome at getting all of the eyelashes colored and the formula is not flaky at all.

Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder in Creamy Natural
I have used this powder for several years because of the color correcting benefits. There are shades of pink, yellow, and green mixed into the skin tone powder to correct redness and blemishes. It makes my face feel soft and makes it look very smooth.

realTechniques Powder Brush
This is the softest powder brush I have ever used. The brush is great for covering my face completely and evenly spreading the powder over my face.

Rimmel Match Perfection foundation in the shade True Ivory 103
This has become my everyday foundation. It has great coverage and stays in place throughout the day, especially if used with a primer. It also smells great!

Royal and Langnickel Contour brush
Even though this is a contour brush, I use it for my highlighter and it is great! The brush is so soft and holds a lot of product to it.

Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Eye Shadow Palette
I have used this palette for probably 2 or 3 years now. It gives you options to have great natural looks, smoky eyes, and even bold looks. Most of the shades are shimmery, with two or three matte colors. This palette is well pigmented and stays in place throughout the day.

Beautiful New Makeup Finds

Many of these new products I haven't had the chance to use yet, but some of them I have had longer than others. My KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks are like my babies. I don't get to wear lipstick as often as I would like to because of band but I have quite the collection as you can see. I received the e.l.f. primer and highlighter/bronzer duo in a voxbox from Influenster. I have been using both the primer and the highlighter (not so much the bronzer) and they have become a part of my daily routine as well! I've been needing a new eye shadow palette for a little while and so I decided on the Modern Renaissance palette. Today was the first day I tried it and I am already loving it!
